SECONDARY SCHOOL

LOWER SECONDARY

Cambridge (CIE) IGCSE

In Lower Secondary, all students are prepared towards the Cambridge (CIE) IGCSE in Grade 10.  Our secondary curriculum is designed to deepen focus, independent learning and target-results drive, as well as build  collaborative skills for teamwork.

UPPER SECONDARY

Upper Secondary students have the option to choose a pathway for gaining entry into tertiary education.

  i. Cambridge (CIE) A-Level Pathway   or    ii. Canadian High School Diploma (OSSD) Pathway*.

*Through its partnership with Bronston Canadian Academy(BCA) students who choose the Canadian High School Pathway learn towards assessments that lead to award of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), Canada’s province-based secondary school certificate for university admission in Canada and globally.

Students begin the Canadian Secondary School curriculum at Bloomfields School to start earning credit for OSSD with the option to complete in Canada, subject to meeting conditions for Canadian student visa.

BRONSTON CANADIAN ACADEMY PROGRAM (BCAP/OSSD)

Bloomfieds School reps BCA to prep private A-Level or WASSCE graduates needing to complement their grades with the OSSD for university admission. Students prep for continuous assessment in mandatory Maths and English Language, in addition to any other subject(s) that they need remedial teaching, without the need for subject re-sit.  BCAP students have the opportunity to accelerate the course based on their capacity and performance.  On successful completion the student is awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), and a BCAP transcript to support their application for admission into universities in Canada and any part of the world.
